摘要	The complete mitogenome of the blotched fantail ray Taeniura meyeni (Myliobatiformes: Dasyatidae) was first presented. The mitogenome is 17,638 bp in length and contains 13 protein-coding genes, 2 rRNAs, 22 tRNAs and control region, with the typical gene order and direction of transcription in vertebrate. The overall nucleotide composition of the whole mitogenome is A 30.74%, C 28.16%, G 13.47% and T 27.63%. The termination-associated sequence and three conserved sequence blocks were identified in the control region.
